Background: Tuberculosis of the spine is a serious manifestation disease that causes debilitating injury. In HIV positive patients incidence skeletal tuberculosis increases to 60%. The MRI has become gold standard for diagnosis and preoperative planning in spinal TB. objective this study was assess impact status on findings at tertiary public hospital Pune, India. Methods: This retrospective TB admitted Fifty with histopathological confirmation tuberculosis, available scans from 2017-2020 were identified. 16 negative 34. Males predominant (27:23). Site, extent disease, type lesion, abscess volume, kyphotic deformity skip lesions reported. Results: There no statistical difference age sex patients. average size group more (9.63 sq.cm) as compare (2.29 sq. cm) non group. Average numbers vertebrae involved both groups are almost same (2.4:2.26). angle significantly (10.8:15.38). common (6 out 10 6 20). correlation between CD4 count Conclusion: have greater tubercular destruction measured by resultant kyphosis. location, vertebral involvement number involved. Skip our study. show epidural volume showing count.
